6 reasons why you should have a website

If you are a small business owner or just starting out in business, you may think that there is no benefit to having a website when, after all, everything can be done on social media. You think you don't have the technical skills, so you don't want to bother creating a website. Or maybe you already have such an established and developed business that you don't need further publicity in the form of a website. I am sure that even if you have been in business for several years, promoting your company or yourself in social media, I guarantee you that a website nowadays is a necessary thing. In fact, I have yet to come across a logical argument that would challenge my belief.

1. A website will ensure that your business gains credibility

More and more people are searching online for products, ways to solve various problems, comparing prices, or simply want information about a store, restaurant, or business before making a purchase. When it comes to convincing consumers to buy, first impressions are important. Statistics showthat 57% of people will not recommend a company with a poorly designed mobile website. Having a professionally designed and easy to use website can help you effectively promote your products and services to potential customers. A website can say a lot about you and your business, so you need to build it in such a way that the viewer can feel confident that you are a trustworthy person and can do business with you.

2. Online stores

Online store? A shot in the arm!  With better technical options for presenting goods and services and fast and secure payments made over the Internet, more and more people are taking advantage of buying and selling online. Online stores, or sales pages, are on the rise. More than half of businesses have recently gone from local (stationary) services to online. So, financial gain is one of the main factors for having a website.

3. Website provides a medium to showcase your work

It doesn't matter what industry you are in. You're a tattoo artist who wants to show off your designs. A photographer who wants to put their best shots on the site. It doesn't matter totally at all. A website is a great place to showcase your work or demonstrate your skills. By posting a portfolio, photo gallery or videos, as well as testimonials and reviews of your work, you can show that you or your business is unique.

4. Website and competition in the marketplace

Your competition is not sleeping, statistics show less than 64% of small businesses have a website. If a customer needs your product or service, he or she will sooner use the offer of a company that has a website than one that does not. He will have the opportunity to learn exactly about the services, history of the company, portfolio, references and data through which he can easily make contact. Today's competition takes place mainly in the Internet space.

5. presents the offer

One of the first steps of sales is to familiarize the customer with the product you will be offering them. 70-80% of people search for information about a company online before visiting or making a purchase. More and more people are looking online for the information they need to take informed purchase decisions. A website is an effective way to present information about a company, its current product and service offerings. It is also a point of information about upcoming events and special promotions

6. Website saves time

Saving time is another important reason why your business needs a professional website. Some of the customer service processes can be automated with the right actions on the website. Time is money. Most people these days don't have enough of it for leisure, pleasure, or even living with their families. Having a professional website saves you valuable time in both the short and long term. The information you can provide on the website is a modern form of communication with potential customers. You don't have to interact with them face to face. Let the moments that you normally spend in direct contact with your audience be time spent with friends or loved ones
